The International Conference on Recent Advances in Engineering Sciences and Applications(RAESA 2027) brings together researchers, academicians, and industry professionals to explore the convergence of foundational sciences and applied engineering. Organized by the Department of Basic Science and Humanities, Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur, the conference spans five interconnected tracks — Mathematics, Physics, Data Science and Engineering Applications, Chemistry, and Data & AI.

Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College
Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur (an autonomous institute), popularly known as BCREC, was established on 21st August 2000 under the management of the Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College Society. The institute is dedicated to the memory of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, the architect of modern West Bengal.
BCREC offers a range of B.Tech programmes including CSE, IT, ECE, Computer Science and Design (CSD), CSE in AIML, EE, CSE in Data Science, CSE in Cyber Security, ME, and CE,along with M.Tech, MBA, and MCA programmes. The institute holds NBA accreditation for its B.Tech CSE, IT, EE, ECE, and ME disciplines and is also accredited by NAAC.
Department of Basic Science and Humanities
The Department of Basic Science and Humanities at Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College lays the academic foundation for every engineering discipline taught at the institute. Covering Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Humanities, the department builds the analytical and conceptual grounding that undergraduate engineers rely on throughout their studies.
